Stunning French Art Deco glass vase in the “Les Cabochons” pattern by Verlys. The vase features a frosted satin ground with raised, polished cabochon-like forms that create a bold sculptural texture around the body and results in beautiful refractions of light that make the piece almost seem to glow.
Verlys was a renowned French glassmaker active in the early–mid 20th century, known for producing high-quality molded art glass that rivaled contemporary makers such as Lalique. Their designs often combined satin finishes with highly polished decorative elements, giving pieces a distinctive luminous effect.
