This listing is for an antique bisque porcelain compote.
The compote is by Vion et Baury. It was made for the Paris Exposition of 1878.
It features a gorgeous design with 3 figures along the base, butterflies, and greenery.
The detailing is phenomenal.
The base is marked with the Vion et Baury anchor mark.
It also has an inscription that reads “Medaille d’or exposition universille de Paris 1878 ( made for the Exposition Universille of Paris 1878).”
The base is in overall good condition. However, some of the edges of the compote have chipped (see photos).
