"New Fields at Ono in Suruga Province " by the renowned Japanese ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai,
Originally created around 1830–1832 as part of his famous series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, this is a mid 20th century print with publishers stamp along right edge.
The scene depicts farmers and oxen carrying large bundles of hay through marshy paddies with Mount Fuji in the background.
Measures 15" x 10 1/2"
Excellent condition. Lightly attached with acid tape to matte at upper rim corners of white, not image.
