Nowadays, silver plated Victorian figural napkin rings have become quite collectible with some dinner hosts placing napkin rings in their place servings trying to match up and reflect characteristics and personality traits of their prospective guests with the subject matter and theme of the ring.

This charming late 19th century silver plated Victorian figural napkin ring is more of a classical timeless theme depicting a "Winged Cherub Pushing A Ring" incorporating a seldom seen lovely design and hard to find addition to one's collection. The cherub themed ring, portraying child like innocence, is unmarked but closely resembles cherub like figures and wings used by The Pairpoint Manufacturing Company.. It is pictured and memorialized on page 16 in "American Victorian Figural Napkin Rings" by Victor Schnadig, published in 1971. Note the highly detailed features to the hair and lifelike posture of the cherub; with wings attached to the ring while "rolling" it backwards. This ring is completely original in every aspect and it has no restoration, and maintains almost all of it's silver plate. This rare ring is from my own personal collection where it has resided for over 30 tears. Be vigilant of reproductions, since fakes are abundant. I guarantee the originality of this ring to be original and Victorian. With Victorian napkin rings, it's all about condition when determining quality and value.
