This antique Chinese Altar Table is Circa the early 19th century. Traditional Chinese design of "Double Ruyi Cloud" is ornately carved on the front of the table. The side panels of the table are nicely carved as well. The wood plank used for the surface of this table is more than two inches thick, and it is one single plank of wood (seamless). The table is crafted with wooden pegs and a tenon structure; which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. This is a very heavy table with great details of handwork. Made from the core of Zelkova Wood, the table is very solid and has been kept in excellent condition. Original patina and wear.
