Hone" … Read more Early 20th Century classical plaster Hermes foot model impressed "D Brucciani & Co London" and numbered "2504". Signed "P.J. Hone" on the underside. This detailed sculptural object features a strapwork sandal displayed on a low plinth. Sculpture can be hung on a wall per the metal hook.

D. Brucciani & Co. London operated throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries, with a focus on producing plaster casts of sculptures. Notable clients included the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Fitzwilliam Museum, as well as private collectors.
