This framed authentic Hermès scarf will bring a touch of French excellence and a hint of American History to your curated interiors.
"Christophe Colomb Découvre l'Amérique" (Christopher Columbus discovers America) was designed by Carl De Parcevaux and first issued in 1992. This is a commemorative Hermès scarf that was released exactly 500 years after Columbus's 1492 voyage. At the heart of the scarf is the depiction of Columbus's flagship, the Santa Maria, sailing across the Atlantic.
The frame is made from durable aluminium for a timeless and elegant look. It includes a white mat board border, crystal-clear acrylic glass and a sturdy wooden backboard for lasting support.
Frame comes in four different colors: Midnight Black, Off White, Copper Bronze, Moon Silver & Orange Gold. Feel free to send us a message if you'd like a different frame color than the one listed and we will happily replace it for you.
Please note this silk scarf is in good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The frame is brand new and custom made to perfectly fit any classic 90x90cm Hermès scarf
