I was born in 1945 and saw this sign particularly in parking lots, roadwork, and alleyways, all things school or Department Store back entrances. This old metal sign has faded with age, but you can still read the weathered patina wording on it. I found it on a wall of an antique store in an older part of Nashville that somehow had escaped the gentrification which the rest of the city has undergone. See less
