This a Chinese bronze tripod censer (incense burner). The design is heavily inspired by archaic Chinese ritual food vessels known as ding. This censer is made of bronze a three-legged vessel with two loop handles at the sides, a common form for incense burners used in religious and scholarly pursuits.
The body features intricate relief patterns, including a central round symbol that appears to be the Chinese character for "longevity" (shou), and stylized dragon motifs around the main body. These types of designs often emulate ancient bronzes from the Shang and Zhou dynasties. This censer is from the Republic period reproduction, used earlier forms as prototypes.
