It has been with me for many years and has always been a good stand in for my many parties. The piece has some fog to the clear glass but that adds to the charm. The blue rim is what creates that special fun feel.
This appears to be a Kosta Boda art glass bowl or vase, possibly from the "Atoll" or "Mine" collections, featuring a ruffled or pinched rim in a blue-green color.
The design is characteristic of Scandinavian art glass, known for heavy, thick glass and vibrant colors. It may have been designed by Anna Ehrner (Atoll collection) or Ulrica Hydman Vallien (Mine collection).
