Avery Fine Antique Pennsylvania Folk Art Woven Split Oak Basket, 19th Century
Found in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Most likely made locally, circa 1860-1900
Made from Split oak, and other local woods. Nice patina on the handle. Round shape, delicately woven sides. Perfect for picking berries or mushrooms.
Size: 8 1/2" by 9" round shape, 9" tall.
Condition: Some minor losses on the top and sides. a spot of an old sick substance that has hardened to a mass on the side of the basket. we have not attempted to remove it. Typical use and wear marks associated with age/use. See pictures.
