This is a stunning antique cast iron fireplace surround made in circa 1930's/1940's. This black fireplace surround is in exceptional condition and in ready to use condition. It measures 30" across and stands about 28 1/4" tall. Each leg measures about 2 3/4" wide. The decorative top front measures about 5" tall and stands out about 2 1/2". I tried to take photos that show each of these measurements.
The top front has (in relief) flowers (fleur de lis) and vines, and a decorative (in relief) strip in the cast iron runs across the top and down both legs. (Please see photos.)
