The leaves … Read more This is a magnificent large round mahogany perimeter leaf table by Maitland-Smith. It is the Roundabout Dining Table. The leaves fit on the outer perimeter making it a bigger round table. It goes from a 64” diameter to 88” diameter with leaves attached.

This table features beautiful crotch mahogany in a radial pattern around the table top. There is an inlaid medallion in the center. The table has extension arms to support the five outside perimeter leaves. The stain is an antique medium brown mahogany color and the satin finish includes moderate distressing to give the appearance of a naturally antique table from the 1800s. See pictures of the moderate distressing, dings, checking/seasoning lines, etc. in the finish in the last six pictures in the sequence. The table is finished to produce the appearance of an antique table from the 1800s so that it will easily blend in with existing antiques.

The pedestal is the standard birdcage pedestal with four fluted columns and four fluted legs which terminate with antique brass casters.
