Antique Round plinths, decorated with gilt foliate scrollwork as well as bordering. Painted within figurative scenes. Cobalt blue gold porcelain artwork 10 inches tall. The interior shows a hollow cylindrical design, indicating it serves as a support structure rather than a enclosed vessel. This was a base for a tall matching vase. It could be used as a planter. With a degree of craftsmanship that is truly exceptional, this would make a fine addition to the appropriate interior space.
It has 12 1/4 inches diameter at the top. The inside rim is 8 1/2 inches diameter .
The base is 13 inches diameter with a 7 inch hole.
The underside is marked with the blue ‘beehive’ marks of Royal Vienna. The Vienna Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1718.
