Solid wood with rectangular top that is framed with linear banding
Anchored by three graduated drawers that are each framed by molded edges
Brass drawer pulls with circular rosette backplates
Upper drawer is fitted with a functioning lock, key, chain, and tassel
Vertical corner posts feature reeded brass-accented elements and carved wood detailing
Chest stands on tapered legs with brass-capped feet
Interior drawer construction features clean joinery and upper drawer includes internal dividers
Visible Kindel-Grand Rapids maker's stamp is present within drawer interior
Very good vintage condition with a well-preserved structure and finish consistent with careful use. Wood finish throughout shows light, expected wear, including scattered fine surface scratches. Top surface displays light surface marks and faint circular mark consistent with prio object placement (see photo). Top edges and corners show gentle edge wear and slight finish variation, particularly toward the rear and right side (see photos), consistent with age and normal handling. Side panels also show minor surface scuffing under angled lighting. No splits, cracks, or separations, observed. Brass hardware shows age-consistent patina.
