Large limited edition 2024 swirlware vase - matte exterior, glossy interior. Beautiful technique. Approx. 5.5" diameter x 7.75" height
"Swirlware" is achieved by using a meticulous, time-intensive process that entails creating thin, crepe-like layers of our classic Dark Brown clay body with porcelain. We make a handful of adjustments to maintain the integrity of the swirled clays: There's no water used in this process, for example, and there is an extra trimming step to ensure the swirl pattern is uniformly defined.
In addition to our signature Special Edition stamp, each vase is signed by Jono on the base.
