A sculpture in the finest white glazed porcelain depicting a cherub or putto with cymbals. Marked under the base with an incised shield, without a green shield painted under the glaze, and numbered. Made by the renowned German Nymphenburg factory, based on a model by Franz Anton Bustelli. Below, we've included a photo with some historical information about the factory, taken from one of our French volumes. The mark on our putto is the number seven, for which the notes read "en creux (incised) à partir de 1862," a mark used since 1862 (see last photos). The sculpture can therefore be dated, even considering the patina, towards the end of the 19th century.
