A wonderful, rare, good-sized vase in hand-modeled majolica draped ceramic, with a heavily acid-treated glaze, creating some detachments from the main body of the vase. This causes several missing spots in the glaze, intentionally created by the artist, for a highly distinctive effect. The vase is entirely hand-decorated with colors ranging from lilac to acid green to light blue. It is signed under the airbrush base "ICAV Giordano Vietri Italy," dating to the first half of the 20th century, 1900.
