Dimensions: height 18 cm, width 44 cm, depth 19 cm.

The exterior has a dark, timeworn surface with fine crazing and gentle shifts in tone that read as a beautiful patina. At the front there is a practical label window. The inscription on the lid refers to Mitsukoshi in Tokyo and mentions the Fur Department (“Mitsukoshi Fur Department, Tokyo”), which also explains why this model was made to be so robust and protective.

Inside, the box is neat and very practical: ideal for storing drawing or calligraphy tools, letters and paper goods, sewing supplies, photos, small accessories, or hobby materials, all kept together and dust-free.

The box is in good condition with normal signs of use. The original side clasps are missing, but the lid still sits neatly in place, as shown in the photos. See less
