This is a vase-shaped stoneware lamp in the Brutalist style. It's heavy and can be used as a decorative piece or as a regular lamp, provided it's rewired. Created in France in the 1960s, it's in the stoneware style typical of La Borne or Payssaye, made by leading French ceramic artists of the 1960s. It complements a minimalist style beautifully. The color is brown, and the patina is lovely.
Wear consistent with age and use. See Detailed Pictures.
