Canadian artist Robert Bateman's precise, evocative depictions of wildlife and landscapes reveal the beauty, strength and fragility of Nature. His realist style has captured the attention of those who appreciate nature the world over, even having been commissioned on behalf of the people of Canada to do a work as a wedding gift for then Prince Charles. Well-published and with a multitude of awards and honorary doctorates, Bateman's was also made Officer of the Order of Canada, the Country's highest civilian award.
