Stunning Persian Yazd rug from the first quarter of the 20th century.
10'8'' x 15'
Yazd carpets are very similar to formal Persian Kerman carpets in design but use thicker yarn giving a lower knot count and finer wear. Yazd carpets are sturdier and do not have the fake field knots seen in Kerman carpets.
