This is a wonderful vintage faux bamboo coffee table by American furniture maker Lane.
The coffee table is made of solid wood (possibly walnut) with carved faux bamboo detailing throughout. The table top has a square shape with chamfered corners, raised wood gallery on all sides, and a glass inset. The top is raised on 8 faux bamboo legs united by 4 stretchers. Signed Lane under the table top.
The mid-20th century table is in excellent vintage condition. The table is very solid and well made. The wood is richly colored and the finish is very clean with few if any flaws. The glass top has a few very faint scratches that are difficult to photograph.
The coffee table measures 34” wide, 34” deep, and 15.75” tall. The glass inset is removable for transport.
