It depicts a celestial attendant standing in a respectful pose with hands clasped in the Anjali Mudra. The figure wears a traditional tiered headdress and a costume characterized by upward-sweeping flanges at the shoulders and hips. The piece retains much of its original polychrome finish—muted tones of sage green, mustard yellow, and traces of red on the base—which has softened and distressed beautifully over time to create a chalky, matte patina.
