Crafted from solid oak, the chairs feature carved cabriole legs terminating in pied-de-biche (deer-foot) feet, shaped seat rails, and curved backs with carved detail. Upholstered in their original leather with brass nailhead trim throughout. The frames have been structurally revised to ensure stability and everyday usability. The wood has been cleaned and waxed, enhancing the natural tone and grain of the oak while preserving age and patina. The original leather shows wear consistent with age, including surface marks and creasing, which adds character to the set.
