Offering a vintage watercolor etching of an adorable black Labrador puppy by Italian artist Giorgio Ferrari (b. 1936). This is a limited edition etching that has been hand pressed and hand painted in watercolor. There is a certificate of authenticity on the back, and the etching is numbered and signed by the artist. This lovely work is presented in a professional custom wood frame with cornflower blue matting under non-reflective glass. Cannot say enough good things about this wonderful vintage piece. The puppy is just too cute, and the Birdseye Maple wood frame contrasts so beautifully with the soft blues of the artwork and matting. Just gorgeous!
Please note: The original owner attached a metal easel stand to the back of the frame for easy display on a bookshelf or table. The easel can be removed easily using a screwdriver and replaced with hanging hardware for display on a wall, if desired.
