manufacturing and signature: on the bottom, the signature is hand-engraved in the raw clay: "testa - appignano." the attribution is certain: it is the ceramiche testa factory (linked to the master giuseppe "peppe" testa), active in appignano (macerata), a town renowned as the "town of cocce" (cocci) for its centuries-old ceramic tradition. The signature, often difficult to read due to the speed of execution, is clearly identified here, lending the piece a distinct local collectible value.

subject and style: the vase is distinguished by its "handkerchief" shape with a wide mouth and a wavy, wavy edge, which lends movement and lightness to the structure.
