Two figures walking side by side, mother and child with skis on their shoulders, both wearing winter clothing typical of tyrol in the 1930s: wide trousers with cuffs and traditional-style jackets, the boy wearing a tyrolean hat. On a cream-coloured oval base with grey shading on the side, inscribed 'tyrol' on the top behind the figures, artist's signature 'dakon' on the underside. Designed by stephan dakon (1904 - 1992), one of the most important designers who worked for the goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties. Dakon designed this model circa 1938.
