A refined example of danish modernism, this egyptian stool was designed by ole wanscher in 1957 and produced by pj møbler in denmark. Inspired by ancient egyptian folding stools, the design combines classical proportion with scandinavian restraint, resulting in a piece that is both sculptural and functional.
crafted from solid stained teak with a black leather seat, the stool is lightweight, elegant, and highly versatile. It remains in excellent vintage condition, retaining its original frame and leather. A timeless collector’s piece that embodies wanscher’s mastery of balance, history, and modern form. This piece has an attribution mark,
