Beautiful vintage c.1950's Japanese donabe cooking pot! This pot has a great look that adds sophistication to your kitchen, as well as being absolutely AWESOME to make anything braised in, as they can be used on a cooktop as well as in an oven and are great for Japanese curries, or even rice dishes! This one is a nice large size, which is somewhat unusual.
It measures 13" wide, 11" in diameter (not including the handles) and 6" tall overall. It is in very good vintage condition as you can see, has some staining on the underside from normal use throughout the decades, but no chips or cracks.
