This beautiful 1960s Native American Turquoise Silver Bolo Tie will be a fabulous addition to your vintage jewelry collection -- especially if you are a lover of authentic turquoise / southwestern style. The 'bolo' pendant, which measures 3.25"L and 2.25"W, includes a beautiful turquoise stone set in bezel and surrounded by a rope detail. The clasp is stamped with Bennett Pat. Pending. The cord is braided leather with 2" Sterling Silver tips. There are no chips in the turquoise stone, however this is a natural stone so there are some occlusions in the surface as happens with genuine turquoise.
Length: approximately 19"L (38" end to end)
Marks: Bennett Pat. Pend. (clasp made by G.L. Bennett)
Condition: Great vintage condition; please see pics for details.
Noteworthy: While Bennett made the clasp, these clasps were widely used on beautiful, genuine Navajo and Zuni (and other Southwestern tribes') turquoise and silver bolo ties, especially from the 1950s-1970s.
