Solid marble pedestal dish carved from natural stone with soft gray veining throughout. The form is inspired by classical Roman tazza silhouettes, featuring a shallow bowl raised on a turned stem and circular foot.
The crisp edging and clean profile indicate a late 20th-century production, while the design itself draws from much earlier classical precedents. Substantial in weight and timeless in appearance, this piece works beautifully in antique and modern interiors as a catchall dish, fruit stand, or decorative accent on a table or vanity.
