The top is supported with minimalist hand carved smooth legs. Finished with our secret ingredient revealing the impressive wood grain. It’s all in the details. Full dimensions; 68″ wide x 16.5” deep x 15” seat height and raises to 17” high on one side. This bench or chaise was hand made in the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, a Japanese philosophy that beauty can be found in imperfection and impermanence. It is a beauty of things modest and humble. A beauty of things unconventional. It is the opposite of vulgarity. The costs of achieving this kind of minimalism are seemingly inconsistent with its mission of aesthetic humility.
