The top is supported with minimalist hand carved legs. Finished with our secret ingredient revealing the impressive wood grain. It’s all in the details. Full dimensions; 61″ wide x 12.5” deep x 12” seat height and raises to 14” high on one side. The top varies from 2 to 3″ thick. This bench was hand made in the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, a Japanese philosophy that beauty can be found in imperfection and impermanence. It is a beauty of things modest and humble. A beauty of things unconventional. It is the opposite of vulgarity. The costs of achieving this kind of minimalism are seemingly inconsistent with its mission of aesthetic humility.
