The jar is marked for "Semi D' Agno Custo".

It held vitex or chaste tree seeds (semi d'agnosasto in Italian).

The base bears an old "Wales" sticker that has a faint (inaccurate) Marseille pottery attribution. The jar is decorated in a typical French faience palette with pink flowers and purple swags, so it is possible that it the bottle comes from a border region potter.

In any case, it is a very fine addition to any antique apothecary jar or Albarello collection!

Overall condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some chips to the rim and base, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
