Featuring tulip blossoms in a range of reds, pinks, and whites with green foliage. On a white ground with a light brown faux crackle pattern. A delicate calligraphic "fable" encircling the bowl rim recounts the legend of the tulip.

"Once upon a time, a youth was enamored of a beautiful girl. Rumor reached him that his beloved had died. Mounting his horse, he galloped off the edge of a rocky escapement, meeting death instantly. As blood seeped from his wounds, bright red tulips sprang up. all around. Thus a red tulip offered by a young man to his beloved says, "as the redness of this flower, I am on fire with love."

This vintage glazed porcelain sink is Kohler model K-14173.. Cantata scalloped drop-in bathroom sink. Now discontinued - its more recent list price was $2,762.00. Measures 25.25" long x 17" wide x 9.25" deep.

In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, etching, or marks of note. Some residual caulking on under rim can be easily removed. Installation instructions included. No mounting hardware included. See less
