The porcelain figurines are mounted on sculptural bases with a faux stone and gilt finish, topped with gracefully curved metal stems and original metal sockets. The figures are marked “Betson China” on the underside, indicating Chinese porcelain decorated and assembled in the United States during the mid-20th century.
