Alaskan Native small woven coil basket with lid. Possibly of the Tlingit Tribe, circa late 1800's to early 1900's. Geometric design in black around body of basket. Measures 5.5" x 3.5" tall.
Excellent condition, some red marks at base. Two spots are pushed in, most likely from the effort to take the lid off and put it back on. As photographed.
