Warm and inviting with a lovingly time-worn composition, this hand-knotted wool distressed antique Persian Hamadan rug will take on a curated lived-in look that feels timeless while imparting a sense of warmth and welcomed informality. The weathered gray field features an all-over floral lattice pattern composed of Mina Khani design and Guli Henna flowers spread across the lovely time-worn field. The Guli Hinnai is the Flower of Hinnai which is a central stem plant with star flowers on either side. Sandy-beige corner spandrels are patterned with rectilinear ambiguous motifs. It is enclosed with a repeating lozenge and eight-point star border flanked with an inner angular floral bud meander guard band. Rendered in variegated shades of rust, gray, brown, sienna, russet, dove gray, oyster gray, beige, sand, greige, mushroom, pashmina, and coffee with other neutral accent colors. Distressed.
