This monumental custom-built mahogany bookcase is an open-air contemporary shelving system thoughtfully constructed around a late 1800s glass-door mahogany bookcase, blending historic character with modern scale and functionality. For this particular piece we found slight wear consistent with age and prior use, including minor nicks, dings, and scuffs on base. The back bottom molding was cut to fit around the molding of its original home. Please note the top shelf on the lower right bookcase was incorrectly placed causing it to be crooked in the photo. It was since been readjusted and sits correctly. less
