A finely carved archaic-style jade dragon bearing a pixiu on its back, likely late Qing / Republic period. Expertly worked in a creamy pale green serpentine, the piece displays subtle translucency and natural russet veining that accentuates the carved scales and expressive features. The dragon’s sinuous body and the auspicious pixiu motif—symbolizing wealth protection—speak to both artistic skill and symbolic resonance.
