The glass is thick and substantial, with slight irregularities consistent with hand-blown production rather than factory-made glass.

The form and technique are characteristic of Murano-style and Italian studio art glass from the mid-century to late-20th-century period. Large in scale and visually strong.

I found this piece years ago at a small antique store. It’s lived with me for a long time and has always felt like a special object rather than simple decor. I’m only selling it now because I’m changing the palette of my space and the amethyst-pink tone no longer fits. See less
