She was extremely meticulous about keeping her entire home spotless, and this sofa resided in her “entry living room,” used only on special occasions—resulting in minimal wear over the decades.

It features a richly carved dark mahogany frame with floral motifs on the rolled arms, twisted rope detailing along the crest, and elegant cabriole legs ending in scroll feet. Reupholstered by expert Bruce Yeargin of Gaffney, SC, using a high-quality Carolyn Fabrics jacquard in a cream base with soft pastel floral swags (roses, vines, and garlands)—a timeless pattern that blends antique charm with modern durability.
Seats three comfortably; in good vintage condition with minor wood scuffs from age but solid structure, no sagging, and pristine fabric (no rips or stains). Perfect for a formal living room, parlor, or eclectic space. Not part of a set; single piece only.
