The sculpture was made in Rome and dates back to 1940.

Unfortunately, not many works from this extremely rare manufacturer are available, but the artistic quality of the sculpture, the glazes used, and the originality of the sculpture—the woman's face in full Art Deco style, very similar to masks by Ivos Pacetti or the famous Viennese Goldscheider factory—with the vase on her head covered by the classic kerchief of Roman folk dress from the 1930s, undoubtedly demonstrate that we are dealing with a truly rare piece of the highest artistic quality. It should also be noted that this is an extremely rare, niche Roman piece, highly collectible, considering that the Tanagra factory boasts a limited production of extremely valuable pieces. This is a true work of art, a unique piece entirely crafted and created by hand, without a mold.
