A stunning, glazed and vitrified ceramic vase, entirely hand-molded on a wheel, then glazed and decorated by hand. Made in the early 20th century, it is signed under the base with his initial "z" and the place of production "italy" by the renowned ceramist ugo zaccagnini. Note the quality of the full-bodied, thick blue glaze, which is gently applied to the vase without covering it entirely. Also noteworthy is the acid-treated glaze, which features some areas that are more worn than others, and finally, the transverse brown shading. A truly artistic vase, with a striking effect. Very heavy, with an extremely thick ceramic biscuit.
