A striking optical glass vase designed by jan sylwester drost for hsg ząbkowice, one of the most important polish glassworks of the 20th century. The vase features a bold ruby red coloration and a distinctive optical relief that plays dynamically with light and transparency. The sculptural form and rhythmic geometry are characteristic of drost’s innovative approach to pressed glass design during the 1970s.
this piece exemplifies the high quality and experimental spirit of post-war polish modernist glass, combining industrial production techniques with strong artistic expression. A highly collectible object, appreciated both as functional design and as a sculptural decorative form. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
