The lamp features a finely … Read more Impressive Italian figural table lamp in Capodimonte porcelain, dating to the mid-20th century (circa 1950s–1970s).
The lamp features a finely modeled pastoral scene with two young peasant children gathered around a rustic well mechanism, one holding a jug while the other pours water. The composition is rich in narrative detail and executed in hand-painted polychrome porcelain, with excellent attention to facial expressions, garments, and movement.
The sculptural base is elaborately decorated with molded reliefs and classical scroll motifs, consistent with traditional Capodimonte production. The piece is completed by a fabric lampshade and brass stem.
Still retaining the original Capodimonte guarantee tag, reading “Certificato di Garanzia – porcellana esclusiva di Capodimonte”, confirming its authenticity and Italian origin. This piece has an attribution mark,
