A spectacular and rare complete service for twelve (12) by the prestigious german manufacturer bareuther & co. This extensive set was produced exclusively for the factory’s 100th-anniversary celebration between 1966 and 1969. It features a vibrant, high-gloss "rainbow" palette, making it one of the most visually arresting examples of mid-century german porcelain.
design & aesthetic: hollywood regency glamour
each demitasse cup is finished in a saturated enamel glaze—including ruby red, jet black, cobalt blue, lemon yellow, rose pink, and emerald green. The exterior gold filigree and delicate handles reflect the neoclassical influence popular in high-end european design during the late 1960s.
collector’s note:
while smaller sets of six are occasionally seen, a full service for twelve is an exceptional rarity. This set is ideal for the serious collector or the host looking to make a definitive statement. Each piece is marked with the official centenary hallmark.
