Swedish teak "Kavalkad" bench for Säffle Möbelfabrik, slatted top, chamfered legs with crosspieces, S-Design series, original mark present.
"Kavalkad" bench by Yngvar Sandström for Säffle Möbelfabrik, part of the S-Design series from the early/mid 1960s. Teak frame with a top made of regular slats attached to stringers, slightly rounded edges, and a pronounced grain. The legs have a chamfered profile with an internal arch and crosspieces that stiffen the piece. Original mark present under the top.
Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully. This piece has an attribution mark,
