Condition: very good. The lamp retains its original cord; upon request, it can be replaced with a new one of the appropriate length. The lamp can be plugged into a socket using the cord with plug, or—after removing the cable—mounted directly to the wall’s electrical installation.
The minimalist yet refined form perfectly reflects the designer’s philosophy, in which light—its quality, direction, and visual comfort—was always of primary importance.
The characteristic semi-circular shade, made of lacquered metal, subtly conceals the light source, directing the light downward while eliminating glare. As a result, the wall lamp produces a soft, pleasant glow, ideal for relaxation areas, hallways, or as an auxiliary bedside light. The simple, functional construction was designed for everyday use. This is an earlier edition of the lamp, equipped with a switch located directly on the fixture—today a rare and highly sought-after collector’s detail.
